Luis Suarez scored two goals and created another Saturday as Liverpool easily beat struggling Fulham 4-0 in the Premier League to bounce back from last week’s loss to Arsenal.
Liverpool took the lead through an own goal by Fernando Amorebieta in the 23rd minute and Martin Skrtel added the second just three minutes later. Suarez then followed up his hat trick in Liverpool’s last home game by adding the third with a calm finish in the 36th and firing in the fourth inside the near post in the 54th.
The result moved Liverpool back into second place in the standings and heaped more pressure on Fulham manager Martin Jol, whose team has just 10 points from 11 games.
