Houston Rockets' Howard fined $25,000 for throwing ball at Fan.. See Video

Houston Rockets' star Dwight Howard has been fined $25,000 forthrowing a ball at a member of the crowd during the game against the Dallas Mavericks.

The 6ft 11in center was fouled with less than three minutes to play in the match, and proceeded to toss the ball carelessly towards a fan who had heckled him.

The NBA announced yesterday that the Rockets' man would be fined $25,000 for the incident, even though the fan swatted the ball back onto the court and no one was hurt.

Howard's franchise went on to lose the game 123-120, despite the fact that Howard himself managed a season high 33 points and 11 rebounds.

Check out the throw that cost the star $25,000 in the video above.
