UCL: Ajax End Barcelona Unbeaten Run to Stay in Contention




Ajax Amsterdam stayed in contention for the last 16 of the Champions League after becoming the first side to beat Barcelona this season with a 2-1 triumph on Tuesday.

The father of Kelechi Iheanacho has raised alarm over the whereabouts of his son, saying he has been taken away by agents without his consent.

Iheanacho, 17, was the top star of the recent FIFA U-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates and is wanted by several top clubs in Europe.

Adidas Extends World Cup Football Sponsorship Until 2030



German sportswear maker Adidas will remain the official partner and sponsor of the FIFA World Cup until 2030 as it defends its market leadership in football against U.S. rival Nike.

Under a deal covering the four tournaments from 2018, Adidas will provide the match balls and the uniforms of volunteers who help fans find their way around. It will also sell licensed World Cup products and have its name on advertising at venues.

F1: McLaren Apologises for Flying Mexican Flag with MARIJUANA leaf at US Grand Prix



McLaren have issued a public apology to the Mexican government after Mexican flags bearing a marijuana leaf flew above one of the team merchandising stalls at the US Grand Prix.

NFF to Display FIFA U-17 Trophy In Calabar
