The range is called CR7 and was launched in a typically understated fashion - in front of a 30ft high billboard of the Portuguese attacker looking lean in just a pair of his new pants. Of course he isn't the first footballer to take advantage of his fame - and athletic frame - by modelling a range of skimpy underwear.
Becks was often spotted posing for the cameras as an Emporio Armani and Freddie Ljunberg was used as Calvin Klein's model.

Ronaldo was right at the heart of the action as Real swept Sevilla aside on Wednesday night in a thrilling 10-goal encounter, which also saw £86million man Gareth Bale bag his first goals in front of his home fans.
