Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama is in the running for the save of the week award in the French top flight after helping his Ligue 1 side Lille to beat Sochaux 2-0 over the weekend.
Enyeama became Lille’s No1 goalkeeper after his season-long loan stint with Hapoel Tel Aviv of Israel expired at the end of last season and he was in splendid form in Week 6. Sochaux keeper Simon Pouplin and Steve Mandanda of Marseille are also up for the award.

Kossi Agassa of Reims is also among the top five performers as well as Ajaccio’s Guillermo Ochoa.
Enyeama made an acrobatic save to preserve Lille’s lead over Sochaux while his opposite number Pouplin who showed great reflex to prevent a goal-bound ball from a rebound could not save his side from defeat.
Mandanda on the other hand blocked a powerful header from Squillaci to ensure that Marseille and Bastia settled for a goal apiece; Agassa’s heroic save also helped his side to play a 1-1 draw against Guingamp while two excellent saves from Ochoa could not prevent Ajaccio’s 2-0 loss to Rennes.
All the five goalkeepers are in the race for the top award for the week which will be decided by votes from fans.
